A three-day workshop designed to immerse participants in the art of free motion and custom quilting techniques. These immersive classes will be held in person at A Quilter's Choice - APQS West. This workshop caters to all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned experts.
Workshop Details
Led by the Award-Winning Master Quilter Myrna Ficken, participants will delve into the core principles of free motion, custom quilting design, techniques, rulers, and more. The primary goal is to master methods essential for enriching your quilting endeavors.
Learning Objectives
Throughout the course, attendees will:
- Acquire new techniques
- Hone design skills
- Practice quilting on top-of-the-line APQS longarm machines
These acquired skills can seamlessly transfer to your personal machine, empowering quilters to continue their creative journey independently.
Materials Provided
All you need to bring is a sketchpad and pencils. All other materials required are supplied for the hands-on learning experience. Additionally, you'll receive:
- Training handouts
- Design essentials
- A wall hanging like the one pictured finishing at home using some of your newly developed skills
