Class # 303 - Gotta Love Samplers
Thursday, Aug. 5th, 9-11
Class Type - Lecture/Drawing
Skill Level - Everyone

This is a beginner/intermediate level class in which I’ll teach you my method of working a sampler from start to finish.  You’ll see samplers in a whole new light!  Learn how to analyze, stabilize, and handle every block with confidence.  We will draw in the first half of the class and stitch 4 blocks in the second half of the class. You will be instructed what block you will need to bring when you register for class. They do not need to be perfect and most likely will not be usable after... but you never know you all are creative.

Stumped on a current quilt project? Bring your tops that have you stumped and at a loss. Myrna will share her ideas for quilting them. You will be amazed once you see it through different eyes and get your creativity rolling.  Pricing for the quilting will also be discussed.

Class # 410 - Just Do It
Friday, Aug. 6th, 8-11
Class Type - Hands-on with longarm machine
Skill Level - Beginner/Confident Beginner

Learn fillers, flowers and all kinds of jazzy and funky freehand designs that can be used on any quilt.  Think “outside of the box” to create fast and easy edge-to-edge designs.  Work with border design which can carry into sashings and blocks.  Spend time stitching in the ditch and learning alternatives.  Bring current quilt projects to discuss, if class time allows.

Materials:  Most supplies are provided in the $40 class kit.

Class # 430 - Fowlproof Feathers
Friday, Aug. 6th, 1-5
Class Type - Hands-on with longarm machine
Skill Level - Intermediate

This is a beginner to intermediate class. So many feathers….so little time!  Myrna will start with her simple feather designs and then jazz them up until they sizzle! 

See techniques for swags,wreaths, allover feathers as well as block designs and adding decorative threads. All designed to make those feather designs blaze on your quilts! 

Materials:  Most supplies are provided in the $40 class kit.

Class # 501 - Creating Spaces
Saturday, Aug. 7th, 9-11

Skill Level - Everyone

Transform a quilt by Creating Spaces within it. You can add to blocks, borders, sashings, and open spaces.  Learn to use your imagination creat spaces in design to enhance your quilt!   See how easy it is to use tools that you may already own and learn to use whatever you might have on hand!
